Nafila Maani

Nafila brings over 25 years of experience in international development and humanitarian assistance, working in partnership with international NGOs, government actors, and the UN across conflict and post-conflict settings, with a focus on human rights, displacement, and survivor reintegration. She holds an MA in Politics of Alternative Development and Poverty Studies and additional certifications in Counter-Terrorism, Conflict Transformation, and Peacebuilding. Through her work in freedom-restricted and conflict-affected contexts, she has witnessed firsthand the human cost of violence and exclusion, which underpins her sustained commitment to prevention and long-term peace and resilience.
