Its main role is to facilitate and channel communications between these bodies in order to achieve an inclusive and effective decision-making process across the network. Working in collaboration with the Regional Secretariats and the Programme Steering Committee, the Global Secretariat ensures there is a coherent structure to GPPAC activities, drawing from the strategic plan, regional long-term plans and annual work plans.
The Global Secretariat operates under the GPPAC Foundation and supports the work of the governance and operational bodies of the GPPAC Network, primarily the GPPAC Board, Regional Secretariats, and the Programme Steering Committee.
