The "Prevention Up Front" alliance aims to build the capacity of civil society actors to influence intergovernmental and regional organisations, state actors, civil society and other conflict stakeholders to create, improve and implement conflict prevention mechanisms and norms, in ways that are locally grounded and inclusive.
Dialogue for a Culture of Peace in Colombia
La Paz Querida and GPPAC have launched a project on ‘Intergenerational Dialogue for a Culture of Peace in Colombia,' aiming to build a culture of peace in Colombia and empower Colombian youth to participate in influencing policy on a national level. The searched impact is to contribute to the reconstruction of the social fabric in the most affected regions of Colombia.
Cameras in hand: transformation and empowerment of Kyrgyzstani girls and boys
GPPAC together with Foundation for Tolerance International (FTI), GPPAC regional secretariat based in Kyrgyzstan have been awarded a grant from the UN Peacebuilding Fund on youth empowerment. The project will focus on empowering Kyrgyzstani youth from different ethnic, gender and social backgrounds in the regions of Osh, Jalal-Abad, Chui and Batken to have a voice heard in local, national and international policy levels and to act as agents of change within their communities to foster understanding about the ‘other' and bring new insights to gender roles, norms and issues.

The Peace Portal is an initiative of the GPPAC Foundation supported by the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs and the City of The Hague.
Civil Society for a Human Security Strategy in Mali
In a consortium led by WANEP, GPPAC and Human Security Collective have supported the efforts to strengthen Malian local civil society groups to play a role in supporting mediation efforts, fostering resilient societies and countering violent extremism through a human security approach.
