16 days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

GPPAC is participating in the 16 days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign with theme "From Peace in the Home to Peace in the World: Make Education Safe for All." For the Campaign, our members in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ghana, and Uganda are organising various events to raise awareness of this issue. We will also organise a Twitter Teach-in to showcase how education and conflict prevention can strengthen each other.

GPPAC's new Executive Director visits Colombia to express the network's support to the peace process

From November 7-11, GPPAC's ED visited Colombia. This was his first mission since he took on the role of Executive Director on 1st November. In Colombia Darynell Rodríguez Torres had the opportunity to meet with Colombia's Foreign Affairs Minister María Angela Holguín. They discussed the state of the current peace talks and the prospects of a new agreement.

This week, various Mali Civil Society Organisations, GPPAC and the Human Security Collective are in New York for advocacy purposes. During this week, the Mali Civil Society Organisations will attend various events and meetings where they will bring their local stories and experiences to the global level.
