Asian Media Information & Communication Centre
The Asian Media Information &
Communication Centre is one of the premier communication centres for
information, research and promotion of mass communication in the Asia-Pacific
region. AMIC supports the human and material resource needs of institutions in
Asia-Pacific by engagement in communication documentation, research, training,
publishing and media development. Established in 1971 with the support of the
Government of Singapore and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, it is dedicated to
communication development in the Asia Pacific and provides a forum for the
exchange of views and opinions among communication scholars and practitioners
in the Asia-Pacific region.
