NDIMA is dedicated to the promotion of freedom
of expression according to Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human
Rights. As an umbrella body of several media houses and groups, NDIMA’s programmes
are focused on human rights advocacy and media support in terms of journalistic
training and the provision of equipment. NDIMA provides temporary shelter
and solace to displaced journalists, provides training to improve journalistic
skills and increase efficiency and professionalism, raise awareness and advocacy
whenever journalists are threatened or are facing persecution by governments
and provides equipment to boost journalistic performance.
