Medienhilfe
Medienhilfe is a Swiss-based non-government
and non-profit organisation which aims to support the independent media and
freedom of press. Medienhilfe’s activities include the support of independent
media organisations by financial, material, moral and political means, as
well as research and analytical work on the role of media in respect to social
integration, conflict de-escalation and transformation, and peacebuilding.
Since its establishment in 1992, Medienhilfe has supported projects in Croatia,
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia and Macedonia and given priority
to projects for establishing better conditions for inter-ethnic dialogue and
cross-border dialogue with neighbouring countries, as well as to strengthening
minority media.
